A pivotal role of education lies in shaping the personality of a child into a healthy mind and happy soul, who is not only equipped with 21st century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but helping him face the challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way. Therefore, the system of education should work as a catalyst in making each child a balanced human being having his core strengths embedded in the learning experiences emanating from our rich socio-cultural roots. In Ompee World School, we enterprise to map academic excellence with a good human value system, which in myriad ways is ingrained in the culture of the school. To achieve this, we strongly feel that a paradigm shift in the minds of all stake holders should take place so that when the school becomes the hub to initiate and formalise education it has its tenets enshrined in a good value system; the extension of which is thereby taken home where it is further strengthened. And our commitment to such education will always persist in all our endeavours. In this pursuit of excellence, I appreciate our parent fraternity for supporting the school in every aspect. I also laud the relentless efforts of our teachers for giving their best in bringing out the best in each child. But I would exhort the students to be always modest, humble and disciplined, while being ready to expand the horizons of their knowledge and skills by dreaming big and working hard.

The last few years have brought both challenge and change in the field of our education. The ongoing economic and social changes in the world have required the focused attention of all the schools to improve performance and position for success no matter what. We’ve made excellent progress, but we have more to do. We will continue to take decisive action to strengthen and grow our school. Today OMPEE WORLD SCHOOL is wonderfully shaped into one digitized educational institute carrying the IB curriculum and making a landmark on its own. As we instantly navigate the short-term challenges, we will not lose sight of our long-term vision to manage to deliver superior education. In fact, our management team and board of directors approved a new digitalized strategy that potentially increases the number of commitments and targets we intend to reach in the coming years. This development was reflected by enlarging the educational platform and by introducing innovative and creative curriculum. By using external and peer benchmarks, we identified gaps and developed a more integrated and holistic set of goals and targets to drive this IB based digitized curriculum into our core academic processes. The ongoing OMPEE WORLD SCHOOL soundly witnesses this statement. There are a number of areas for which we can already report progress. We shall continue to undergo gap analysis exercises centered on identifying the need for stronger school governance over strategic and growth matters and on ensuring more direct engagement and adherence to IB policies. We shall also pursue refreshing our school’s vision and strengthening its connection to our core mission which remains the focal bonding. This website shall be the window through which we share our news. We want to use this information tool to show you how OMPEE WORLD SCHOOL is doing, how we are refining our operations and how we continue to attract committed, passionate employees who want to help us achieve our goals. The diversity, commitment and expertise of our employees, working interactively with the students, inspire our vision. We at Ompee, truly believe that each child entrusted to us will receive education in its finest form. We are aware that learning is a lifelong process and, therefore, students are motivated to challenge their hidden potential. I believe that Education is a holistic experience that synergises the growth of body, mind and spirit. Our Director Mr. Yogender Hooda and Headmistress Jyotsna Sohanlal, desire to nurture and prepare generations of individuals as the-torch-bearers of tomorrow, who, believe in the strength of their convictions and take pride in being Indian. The curriculum at Ompee World School is dynamic and futuristic; therefore, we have realized the need to implement technology in all areas of the functioning of the school. The key contribution of IT to education is that it can allow the student's interests, needs, strengths, and weaknesses to drive the learning process, with the instructor facilitating rather than dictating. At Ompee, we endeavor to empower our students with these new ways of education. In particular, we believe that IT is enabling the emergence of a new kind of pedagogy that is focused on meeting individual needs of students. The school website is another step forward on an IT-enabled approach and marks a departure from the conventional pedagogy in which all students were treated more or less alike. Jyotsna Sohanlal, has 22 years of experience in the field of education, much of it in leadership positions in prominent schools in India and overseas. She brings considerable professional expertise to the role with hands - on experience in national and international education systems, she held the responsible position of the Directress of Academics to a chain of Madhwani Schools in Uganda for a period of seven enriching years. Thereafter she moved on to Kenya, Nairobi and took over the role of School In-charge of Lenana School. Jyotsna, is a gold medalist with a post graduate degree in English Literature. She has successfully conducted training modules for staff in different international schools. Her extensive travels over the world have enabled her to visit schools in the UK, Europe and Australia. These have helped broaden her perspective of different systems and equipped her with skills to meet the demands and rising challenges in the field of education. At present, she is in a leadership role at “Ompee World School –Manesar”. A veteran educationist for whom teaching has never been a profession; she is a born teacher for whom education has been a matter of faith, pride and passion. She owes her disciplined dedication to education, to her careful nurturing through convent education. As a head of the school leadership team Jyotsna, has been responsible for strategic planning, including all operational and managerial functions of the school. She has successfully implemented a number of initiatives and changes in different areas of the school curriculum as guided by the British Council Team.She has successfully completed eight professional development courses with the British Council and participated in the workshops held by them in and out of Delhi.
